Redd Kross...

Nabbed a great looking Redd Kross used at Lot 49 a couple days ago. It's so weird, every time I see this particular album come up used anywhere, it's always beat to hell. This copy is nice and clean, the insert isn't wrecked, just a nice looking CD. I didn't really listen to Redd Kross until the 2000's. There was so much other music around, it just never came up in a discussion with anyone I knew. They were pretty far off the map even when they were around, not playing Hardcore or even LA sounding punk, Redd Kross were more like a trashy Monkees, or sloppier version of the Replacements. "Linda Blair", "White Trash", "Solid Gold", there's not a single clunker on this album. Redd Kross's first album still dominates. It was kind of grunge before the term, and about 10 years earlier....

13 songs makes the count at 17572....
