I saw this used at Everyday Music for $4, I liked the classic look of the cover, the name was cool, I took a chance. It paid off! Breezy, compositions that remind you of old 60's pop music like Burt Bacharat, or a more subdued Spiral Starecase or some of the French music from that time as well. Maybe a tones down, sad Stereolab too. Lots of horns, strings, vibraphones backed up by a world weary voice provided by Tim Yehezkely. A very odd girls name! The songs are all a bit melancholy, and the pace at which their played really delivers the full impact. It's a record for staying in on a rainy day for sure. I know next to nothing about this band, except that there is at least one more album out there, I really need it after listening to this one....
12 songs makes the count at 17730...
